Designing the First Shift

I wanted this to feel like a place you stepped into, not a course you clicked through.

First Shift puts you in the boots of a new seasonal field tech arriving at River Bend for the first time. You explore the station, figure out what you need, head into the field, collect real observations, and work through your first shift as it unfolds.

The goal was simple: make the work itself the experience.
